A Local Party, Parade, Art & Music
Presented by the Businesses and Community of Mission Beach
We're having a party to boost our spirits, celebrate the grace of life at the beach, and to bring focus to the businesses that need the spotlight to help our local economy.

Jan 30th, 9am - 6pm
We will be Parading thru Mission Beach, checking out the local businesses, then being entertained by local performers & vendors at the Wavehouse in Belmont Park.
About The Event
This day will be the inaugural event for a tradition that we hope will continue for future generations. We need to celebrate the beauty, natural wonder, and magic of the strip of sand we call home…Mission Beach.
The start of our day of activities will be a walking parade up the Pacific Boardwalk from the Roller Coaster at Belmont Park along the ocean to San Rafael Court and then down south along the Ocean (west) side of Mission Boulevard. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume as sea life, real or mythological or fictional sea characters, or attire appropriate to beach living.
The Merchants of Mission Beach are donating prizes and this will be fun for all ages. Please join the celebration as the creative expression of your relationship to the deep blue sea, our Pacific Ocean, and the beautiful Mission Bay.
Important Times
09:00 AM - Parade lineup on the beach west of the Wavehouse
10:00 AM- Boardwalk parade North to San Rafael Place, then south on Mission Blvd. on the oceanside (west) sidewalk back to Belmont Park/Wavehouse
12:00 AM - Parade concludes at Wavehouse Costume Awards Given & Live Entertainment Begins
12:30 PM - Music Acts begin
06:00 PM - Event Wrap-up
